Phil Kenny is a playwright, composer, and lyricist, currently co-writing the book, music, and lyrics for the original musical Alice in Neverland with Reston Williams.

He is widely regarded in the industry as a “storytelling guru” and serves as a creative consultant on numerous musicals in development, known for his ability to help shape compelling narratives with clarity and emotional depth.

 

As a seven-time Tony Award-winning and Olivier Award-winning producer, Phil brings a rare dual perspective to his work—one rooted in creative vision and enriched by years of identifying what makes shows commercially succeed on Broadway, as well as in the West End, Australian, and national tours. His producing work has deepened his instincts for structure, pacing, and audience connection.

Phil is the co-founder of the prolific Broadway production company 42nd.club and he serves on the Executive Board of the Broadway Producers Alliance. He is married to actress and Tony Award-winning producer Claire Wilkins Kenny, and they are the proud parents of seven children.
